Park & Ride

METRO currently operates 29 Park & Ride lots across Harris County, many offering direct access to the HOV network. TxDOT also has numerous Park and Pool locations throughout the region that are ideal for forming a vanpool or carpool. You can leave your car at no charge at most of the facilities to ride on the bus or in a vanpool or carpool. Check out METRO's Park & Ride Map to find the nearest Park & Ride or Park & Pool location.

The Addicks Park & Ride located at 14230 Katy Freeway (east of State Highway 6) is the only Park & Ride located within District boundaries, and primarily serves commuters who work downtown or in the Texas Medical Center, but there are some reverse commute options for Energy Corridor workers living downtown with the 228 Addicks Route.
